Tower Dimensional Control Project 2025

IMS has been selected by a prominent oil refiner to spearhead the laser scanning and validation of an out-of-service crude. This tower, currently residing in an out-of-state laydown yard, will undergo thorough validation of every nozzle, anchor rod location, and tray internal support. Our cutting-edge equipment will scan both internal and external surfaces of the tower, seamlessly integrating the data into the plants existing coordinate system. Any discrepancies from the original design will be promptly flagged by our AI simulation system, enabling the engineering team to determine necessary design modifications. Upon successful completion of this critical validation phase, the tower will be shipped to a major refinery for reinstallation and renewed service.
